诸如智能手机和平板电脑之类的移动电子设备需要高度填充的印刷电路板(PCB),以在竞争日益激烈的市场空间中支持其功能和性能要求。消费者需要更快的处理速度,更高的分辨率和更长的电池寿命。为了提供先进的功能和性能,电路板和半导体封装设计人员必须共同努力,以最有效的方式将半导体器件紧密封装在PCB上,而不会引起EMI问题。移动电子设备原始设备制造商不能容忍EMI问题,因为性能和可靠性推动了该市场的消费者需求。
为了消除由密集的PCB引起的潜在EMI问题,PCB和半导体设计人员正在研究屏蔽半导体器件和印刷电路板的新方法。传统的金属EMI屏蔽不再是一种选择,因为它们占用了太多的电路板空间,因此降低了移动电子设备的整体竞争功能。一种可能的解决方案是集成EMI屏蔽:半导体器件,其在半导体封装的顶部和侧面具有导电层,该导电层内部将器件接地到印刷电路板。通过这种方式将EMI屏蔽集成到半导体封装中有两个主要优点:首先,它通过将EMI屏蔽结合到半导体器件本身中来节省PCB空间,从而减小最终产品的整体尺寸,其次,它简化了电路板设计并缩短产品周期。

吸收涂层
解决电子移动设备中的EMI问题的另一种方法是通过将有机吸收涂层施加到半导体封装或PCB以吸收多余的电磁波。Parker Chomerics的吸收涂层配方可以吸收客户特定频率的电磁波,并且因为它们不导电,可以直接应用于已经装有半导体封装的PCB。这些吸收涂层可以应用于PCB或PCB的部分,以减少电路板组装后不必要的EMI噪声。
使用吸收涂层解决EMI问题的五大优势:

5.它们可以在连续的大批量制造环境中应用,只需最少的资本设备投资,使其成为低成本,低风险的电路板或元件级EMI问题解决方案。
抑制电路板级EMI的挑战并没有消失。相反,随着消费者继续要求其移动电子设备提供越来越多的功能,制造商必须继续寻找新方法来解决这些不断增长的板级EMI问题,才不会影响产品设计周期和制造成本。
