【经验】如何降低降压电源芯片SGM6132的输出纹波?
圣邦微推出的降压电源芯片SGM6132,该器件可在4.5V至28.5V的宽输入电源范围内实现3A连续输出电流,并具有出色的负载动态调整率。SGM6132的开关频率为1.4MHz,可极大的提高电源的转换效率,电流模式操作可提供快速瞬态响应并简化环路,提高稳定性。适合于12V/24V的电源系统设计。在某工业伺服器控制板中,供电系统输入电压24V通过SGM6132降压到3.3/1A给后级的主控芯片供电,具体电路如下图:

按以上电路,输出电容用的是1个100uF的电解电容,测得输出纹波峰峰值高达140mV,如此之大的纹波值对后级的干扰很大,按实际应用需求,必须将输出纹波降到60mV左右。为此,采取如下步骤来进行降低纹波。
第一步,用示波器测试SGM6132的SW脚波形,观察波形的抖动是否在20ns以内,以此来确认电源环路是否稳定。若是环路不稳,需要调整COMP脚的电阻电容,在此次的调试中,将C3电容增加到了15nF,C6增加到了3.3nF,调试后测试SW脚波形,抖动在正常范围内,环路稳定。
第二步,将输出电解电容100uF用2个47uF的瓷片电容替换,以减小ESR,从而达到降低纹波的目的。
通过以上调试后,再次测试SGM6132的输出纹波,发现纹波降到了60mV左右。所以通过增加环路稳定性和降低输出电容ESR可以有效地降低SGM6132的输出纹波。
