【经验】压敏粘合剂和弹性体EMI垫片使用注意事项
压敏粘合剂,通常称为PSA,是在施加压力时形成粘合的粘合剂,用来将粘合剂与EMI垫圈连接。如“压敏”的名称所示,粘合程度受施加压力大小的影响。
当需要关注垫片导电性时,通常不建议将PSA与EMI屏蔽垫圈一起使用。这是因为粘合剂条抑制EMI屏蔽垫圈与配合表面的真正接触,从而降低了垫圈的性能。但是,如果认为PSA系统是必要的,则应考虑以下指导。
PSA的优点
▪ 无需使用紧固件或其他粘合剂。
▪ 可以作为“third hand”使用,以方便困难的安装。
▪ 可使用有机硅或氟硅氧烷作为永久性附着方法。
▪ 快速粘贴 ,易于粘附在干净的表面上。
▪ 与曲面的贴合性。
▪ 抵抗潮湿,水分,自然元素。
▪ 解决了RTV溶剂排放和长设置时间问题。
PSA的缺点
▪ 不适用于圆形横截面,因为可供粘贴的表面区域很小。
▪ 不建议用于对耐溶剂性要求很高的情况。
▪ 不建议用于移动部件,这会导致PSA的过度使用。
▪ 为片材弹性体增加保质期。
▪ 不适用于EPDM粘合剂。
根据它们的使用方式,PSA系统可能在不同程度上减少垫圈通过法兰的导电性和/或屏蔽效率。诸如需要最低电阻接地连接的EMI连接器垫圈的应用不应包含PSA系统。
总的来说,PSA作为弹性体材料的连接方法的使用意味着有助于初始组装操作而不是长期永久连接方式。通常,您可以预期可能需要增加垫圈的最小偏差以获得所需的屏蔽效果。
