电吉他从外型到音响再到发生原理都与传统的吉他差别很大,电吉他的琴身上装有线圈,被称为拾音器,被磁化的吉他弦振动会引起拾音器上线圈磁通量的变化从而在线圈中产生不同频率的电流,当这些电流通过电子音箱还原时,就发出了电吉他的声音。
