Electric vehicles play an indispensable role in building low-carbon sustainable cities. With EV sales growing and specifications constantly improving, EVSE manufacturers are scaling up their fast-charging facilities to meet future market demand. Chroma provides a range of customized High-power DC Charging (HPC) test solutions. The Chroma 8000 EVSE ATS can be paired with the Chroma 61800 grid simulator and 17040 battery simulator, as well as a host of EV simulators or EVSE simulators, to meet various DC charging standards (CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T, ChaoJi). The single-coupler or multi-coupler high-power charging test platform can be configured to suit the requirements of the DUT, improving the quality of high-power EVSE and greatly reducing production time and costs.
The multi-coupler DC EVSE automatic test solution includes automatic power switching and over-temperature and over-current protection mechanisms to meet the scalability and safety requirements of high-power test applications. The Chroma 61800 grid simulator and the 17040 battery simulator are both equipped with energy recovery functions to reduce power consumption and ambient temperature. Besides saving on electricity bills, these instruments reduce carbon emissions to achieve the goals of energy conservation and environmental sustainability.
