【技术】全业电子科普TVS二极管选型技巧
众所周知在TVS管的选型过程中,许多供应商和制造商经常直接告诉需求方选择哪种类型的器件,很少普及选型技巧和在选型过程中提供理论计算。因此,许多电子工程师在选型TVS二极管器件时,老手凭经验,新手凭参考。一旦供应商、制造商或测试条件被更换,就无从下手。为此,为了解决这个小问题,全业电子科普:TVS二极管选型,让老手新手得心应手。
掌握瞬变电压抑制TVS二极管参数,选型时则事半功倍:
(1)最大工作电压Vrwm:TVS的截止电压,最大直流电压或交流峰值电压,可连续施用,不会导致TVS管变质或损坏;
(2)泄漏电流IR:待机电流在规定温度和最高工作压力下流过TVS管的最大电流;
(3)峰值脉冲电流IPP:10/1000μs电流波形峰值;
(4)钳位电压Vc:施加规定波形的峰值脉冲电流IPP时,TVS管两端测得的峰值电压;
(5)击穿电压VBR:在规定的脉冲直流电流IT或接近雪崩的电流条件下,测量TVS管两端的电压;
(6)结电容CI:在数据接口或通信线路中的保护,应注意TVS管的结电容值。
TVS二极管选型,离不开以下六点:
(1)要确定被保护电路中的最大直流或连续工作电压,电路的额定标准电压和“高端”容限;
(2)TVS管的额定瞬态功率要大于电路中可能出现的最大瞬态浪涌功率;
(3)TVS管的截止电压要大于被保护电路的最高工作电压;
(4)TVS管的最大钳位电压要小于后级被保护电路中的损坏电压;
(5)确定好TVS管最大箝位电压后,其峰值脉冲电流要大于瞬态浪涌电流;
(6)对于数据接口的电路保护,还需注意选取具有合适电容的TVS二极管。比如:当信号频率或传输速率较高时,应选用低电容系列的TVS管。
任何理论都是在实践的基础上完成的。TVS二极管仅是基于理论价值,还需要结合经验和技术进行选择。
