【经验】如何给BUCK电路选择合适的电感?
现如今,无论哪种电子设备,都需要用到电源芯片,小电流的需求可以用LDO,而对于大电流的需求就需要用到DC-DC电源芯片,而DC-DC电源的拓扑有BUCK、BOOST、BUCK&BOOST等,而在设计这些电源芯片上,电感是至关重要的器件,本文为会给大家讲解如何给BUCK电路选择合适的电感,如大家所知,下图是一个BUCK电路:
MOS管Q导通时,电感L上的电流增量
▽i1=∫V/L*dt,
对MOS导通时间0-ton积分可得
(Vin-Vo)*ton/L;
当MOS关断时,电感L上的电流减量
▽i2=∫V/L*dt,
对关断时间段toff积分可得
Vo*toff/L,而▽i1=▽i2,所以Vin*ton=Vo*T,即Vo=Vin*D,
通过调节占空比的大小就可以调节输出的电压值。
对于电感的纹波电流▽i一般选取0.2-0.3Io,假设:输入电压24V,输出1.8V,输出电流1A,开关频率f=500KHZ,此时的电感量该如何选择呢?以下为计算方式:
(Vin-Vo)*ton/L=0.2Io,ton=D*T=Vo/Vin*f,代入得出L=22uH,电感的Ipek约等于2倍的Io即为2A。
根据以上计算,本文推荐选用Viking的功率电感PCD0705MT100(10uH),以下为Viking的功率电感型号:

在电源管理电路中,DC-DC BUCK电路所采用的原理是电感储能,在开关管进行开关时完成电感与负载之间的能量传递;而电荷泵的实现原理是电容储能,其可以在开关状态实现电容与负载的能量传递。两者的区别是电荷泵方案的电源输出电流能力很弱,如果负载功率较大会导致电荷泵输出电压纹波过高而影响供电效果。所以在实际应用中应该根据负载 大小、是否需要负电压来选择合适的电源芯片。
