2020年5月6日-SILICON LABS (亦称“芯科科技”)日前宣布推出新型节能电源管理IC(PMIC)系列产品,可用作EFR32无线产品和EFM32微控制器(MCU)的专用配套芯片。EFP01 PMIC系列产品提供了灵活的系统级电源管理解决方案,可有效提高电池供电型应用的能源效率,这些应用包括物联网(IoT)传感器、资产标签、智能电表、家庭和楼宇自动化、安全防护以及健康和保健产品。这些功能丰富的PMIC使得开发人员可以为他们的应用选择最佳的电池类型和化学成分,同时通过多个输出电源轨和电压去控制产品的电源供应。该交钥匙PMIC解决方案可降低高达50%有功和休眠电流,提高电源转换效率,延长电池寿命。

EFP01 PMIC通过增强的控制功能简化了电源系统设计并降低了功耗。PMIC包括低压DC-DC转换器和稳压器,同时可在系统设计中使用灵活的机制管理电源轨。

· 灵活的输入/输出电压:极宽的输入电压范围(0.8V-5.5V)可支持电池组。极宽的输出电压范围可支持各种外围设备、MCU和无线电。
· 灵活的用例:PMIC支持降压和升压电压转换,以及升压和降压组合(boost bootstrap),从而可为需要纽扣电池供电和更高发射功率(最大+20dBm)的IoT产品支持低电压、高电流电源轨。
· 多个输出电源轨:此功能允许整个IoT产品由一个低成本PMIC供电,从而使用更少的电路板空间并简化软件/硬件设计。
· 低静态电流:与许多PMIC不同,EFP01针对休眠设备进行了优化,可提供低至150nA的静态电流,以减少休眠电流并延长电池寿命。
· 库仑计数:EFP01支持库仑计数(少数PMIC解决方案提供的功能),可为电池寿命估算和预防性维护提供重要信息。
