【经验】汽车级绝对压力传感器MLX90817的EEPROM参数修改指南
智能汽车发动机是采用TMAP部件实现对发动机压力和温度的监控,MELEXIS推出的汽车级绝对压力传感器MLX90817,该芯片内部包含感压MEMS电路和信号处理电路,是一个单芯片绝压测量解决方案。压力传感器MLX90817最大优势在于出厂自带预编译版本,客户工程师不用做温度、压力的二次校准。但是在某些TMAP产品中,需要修改压力传感器MLX90817的参数满足特定输出要求,本文所讲述就是如何实现MLX90817的EEPROM参数修改。
首先,工程师们要根据车厂要求来选择最适合的压力传感器。比如某个TMAP产品要求量程为0.1bar-3bar,静态压力精度小于1%FS,工作电压为5V±0.5V,输出电压范围为0.4V- 4.65V。按照上述参数选型,最适合的压力传感器型号为:MLX90817LXE-DBE-012-RE,但是它对应的最小压力为0.2bar,与需求不符合,此时就要修改MLX90817的EEPROM参数。

其次,压力传感器MLX90817的参数修改需要Melexis专用编程器PTC04和子板PTC04_DB_Pressure01,需要在电脑端安装LabVIEW软件,需要通过LabVIEW打开配套的UI软件,读取到MLX90817的EEPROM。可以发邮件给深圳世强索要MLX90817的专用UI软件。
第三,用LabVIEW软件打开MLX90817的UI软件,需要计算0.1bar对应的%VDD值,将其填写到UI软件中,然后点击Save EEPROM。
第四,通过Measure界面可以测量出当前的PV曲线。不用客户工程师再次做压力与输出电压的校准,降低了产品设计难度。

通过简单的修改,即可满足TMAP产品的项目需求,与其他设计方案相比,使用MLX90817来设计TMAP产品,即可以缩短研发周期,又可以节省标定成本。
