随着互联网万物互联和大数据信息的暴增式发展,数据中心的数据吞吐量和信息传输速率需求也在更新换代,传统的电信号传输由于高速率长距离损耗过大,无法满足高带宽长距离的传输要求,需要通过更高带宽和更低损耗的光纤来传输。光模块作为高速光纤与数据中心数据传输的转换模块,需要快速适应和满足更高速率的数据通信需求,数据中心光模块的通信速率也从以前的100G往200G、400G、800G等更高的速率发展。
高带宽高速率的光模块往往伴随着高功率和热损耗,而光模块又是对温度非常敏感的器件,无论是激光器还是探测器,工作环境需要控制在一定的温度下以保证性能的稳定性,有采用TEC半导体制冷片作为温度控制的方案。激光器的发热量较大,在TEC做温度控制的同时,为保证器件的安全性,需要增加一道过温保护功能。本文采用SGM891B电压检测器方案,设置过温保护电压阈值,通过检测温度传感器的模拟电压输出,进行比较,触发保护机制,可设置不同保护阈值和可调延迟输出,与比较器方案相比,设计更灵活简单。
以下是SGM891B具备的优势:
1、高精度检测,±1%典型精度,可调阈值范围为0.8V至5V,增量为0.1V,极大地提供了应用灵活性;
2、检测电压温漂系数±40ppm/℃,-40℃至+125℃工作温度范围,在较为严苛的温度环境稳定可靠工作;

圣邦微电子(SGMICRO)推出的SGM890B和SGM891B是低功耗的电压检测器,具有±2%的检测精度。SGM890B支持外部电容调节延迟时间。感测引脚与电源引脚分开,允许这些IC检测其他电源。因为是独立供电,即使检测电源电压降到0V,SGM890B和SGM891B也能保持检测状态。
