Patented VCSEL Chips with Improved Divergence Angle of 11° and Peak Optical Powers over 20W in Pulse Mode
High peak power with low beam divergence VCSEL light source indisputably improve the sensing efficiency. BRIGHTLASER have launched VCSEL chip with improved divergence angle (FWHM) of 11° and achieve peak optical powers over 20W in pulse mode.
VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) give intrinsic advantage such as high efficiency, low wavelength drift with temperature, circular beam for easier collimation and strong adaptability into electronic packaging. It has been widely used in 3D detection in mobile devices, proximity sensor in various automation systems, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) in vehicle.
To reduce the noise of detection, VCSEL as a light source of sensor must emit a smaller divergence angle beam on the target. BRIGHTLASER VCSEL chip enables to deliver a small divergence angle (FWHM) of 11° and (1/e^2) of 15° and circular shape. It can be used for proximity sensor in mobile phone and earphone.
Optical power of VCSEL determine the range of LiDAR and sensors. BRIGHTLASER VCSEL chip provides various optical powers to satisfy your applications. For instance, our VCSEL with wavelength 940nm and 20 aperture arrays can achieve over 20W under pulse mode at pulse width 4ns and frequency 116kHz.
BRIGHTLASER also provides 808nm/ 850nm/ 940nm VCSEL Chips and diodes optical power in CW mode from 8mW to 10W, optical power in pulsed mode up to 1000W, packaged by SMD, TO-can, T-mounted or multi-channel, integrated with PD, diffuser, or DOE. Moreover, we provide customizable Multi-VCSEL diode, VCSEL Modules, Proximity sensors, Range finder sensors, Laser Illuminators and LiDAR.
