【选型】薄膜电容耐高压、寿命长,完爆电解电容
【摘要】相比于易产生爆炸危险的电解电容,薄膜电容耐压高、寿命长、并且无极性,不惧怕反向过压。WIMA推出的DC-LINK MKP 4系列电容,容量从1uF到400uF,额定电压从400VDC到1300VDC,具有极低的耗散因数和极强的自恢复功能,在70℃的环境下具有超过10万小时的使用寿命。无论安全性还是使用寿命,都比电解电容更胜一筹。
在国家政策的支持下,新能源及其相关产业得以迅速发展。在新能源及新能源汽车领域,电容器作为能源控制、电源管理、电源逆变以及直流交换等系统中必不可少的一员,是决定变流器寿命的关键性器件。
在逆变器中,直流电作为输入电源,通过直流母线与逆变器连接,这种方式叫DC-Link或直流支撑。在直流输入母线与IGBT之间并联的电容则称之为DC-Link电容或直流支撑电容,该电容的作用一是平滑母线电源,使得母线电压在IGBT开关过程中仍能保持平滑;二是降低IGBT端到直流输入端的线路电感,降低尖峰脉冲,起到保护IGBT的作用。显而易见,该电容很大程度上决定了IGBT乃至整个系统的寿命。

电解电容
如图1所示电容,一般情况下,该电容采用电解电容,其典型的最高标称电压为500~600V,如要求更高的电压则需要多个电容串联使用,但由于各电容的绝缘电阻不同,需要在每个电容上连接电阻以平衡电压。除此之外,电解电容是有极性电容,如果超过额定电压1.5倍的反向电压被加在电容上,则会引起电容内部化学反应的发生,如果这种电压持续足够长的时间,电容会发生爆炸,为了避免这种危险,我们必须给每个电容并联一个二极管。
薄膜电容
薄膜电容具有耐压高、寿命长、ESR极低,并且无极性,不惧怕反向过压的优点。在替换电解电容时,薄膜电容容量只有电解电容容量的三分之二,甚至三分之一。WIMA生产的DC-LINK MKP 4系列电容,容量从1uF到400uF,额定电压从400VDC到1300VDC,具有极低的耗散因数,如果介质出现短路,会自行将短路的地方隔离开,具有极强的自恢复功能,在70℃的环境下具有超过10万小时的使用寿命,符合AEC-Q200标准。
通过比较可以看出,在高压应用中薄膜电容比电解电容更优秀,更可靠,寿命更长,薄膜电容才是DC-Link电容的首选。

目前集中型和组串式逆变器越来越多的选用薄膜电容,其原因是:(1)薄膜电容较电解电容耐压可以做到更高,电解电容最高只能做到450V,而薄膜电容最高可做到1500V甚至更高,在高压系统中无需串联;(2)薄膜电容较电解电容耐高温性能更高;(3)薄膜电容比电解电容寿命更长。
