By integrating the Performance sensor eCap – and thus modern sensor and communication technology – existing systems become communication-capable. To constantly improve TELE products, TELE has revised the software for the eCap (Firmware Updater and eCap Configurator). With the new firmware version V1.1 (software for the microcontroller), a restart can now be done by using the ModBus interface, instead of using manual restarts as before. In addition, TELE was also able to optimize the basic accuracies of the measured values:

Active energy W from 2.5 to 1.5
Reactive energy EQ from 3.0 to 1.5
Reactive power Q from 1.5 to 0.5%

The new software (Firmware Updater and eCap Configurator) is already available for download. Simply call up the product details and install the new software under the menu item “Software”.
