Hosiden Announces 28” Ultra-wide Seamless Touch Panel DTS5079 with High-reliability Touch Functionality
In line with the growing size of touch panels due to multi-purpose display applications for instrument panels, HOSIDEN has developed a “28” Ultra-wide Seamless Touch Panel" DTS5079 that allows a large full screen display with a single panel.
Traditional large-size full screen displays were previously typically composed of several touch panels, and panel joint “seams” appearing on the display were the constraints of design and display. This product can be used as a large, seamless touch panel with a full uninterrupted display area, which can be further divided into 2 or 3 screens for multiple simultaneous displays. With flexible display options including maps, monitors, and vehicle information, this touch panel realizes in a single unit an instrument panel of excellent design.
Despite being ultra-large, this panel has high-reliability touch functionality through the use of a high-sensitivity metal mesh. The panel incorporates countermeasures to combat unwanted color casts and unevenness that occurs when viewing with polarized sunglasses, and a thin bezel design.
