The Uses and Application Areas of Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators
The use of temperature-compensated crystal oscillators is very broad. It can be used in communication and control systems in the fields of spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and aviation vehicles to provide a stable frequency reference signal for the entire machine. The temperature-compensated crystal oscillator is a quartz crystal oscillator. The device reduces the change in oscillation frequency caused by changes in ambient temperature by adding a temperature compensation circuit.

As the "heart" device of the frequency source, the temperature-compensated crystal oscillator provides highly stable frequency and clock signals for electronic equipment and plays an important role in the performance of the entire machine. The temperature-compensated crystal oscillator adopts a quartz resonator miniaturization design and wide temperature frequency stability design technology to achieve miniaturization and high-precision indicators in a wider temperature range. This is the purpose and characteristics of the temperature-compensated crystal oscillator.
temperature compensated crystal oscillators are usually used in high-end intelligent equipment, such as GPS navigation equipment, wireless communication equipment, etc. These products will have defective components due to high temperatures, which can easily cause the circuit of the entire product to burn out or even fail.
The temperature compensated crystal oscillator has the characteristics of low voltage, low power consumption, and ultra-high precision, which is very suitable for this working environment. The key is that the temperature-compensated crystal oscillator can play a supplementary role in changes in weather temperature. When the temperature is low, it will compensate for the oscillation frequency deviation caused by changes in surrounding temperature according to its temperature compensation circuit, thereby protecting the stability of the product.
The differential crystal oscillator adopts a ceramic integrated fully sealed structure, which seals all components and circuits within a ceramic base. At the same time, it has the characteristics of high frequency, small size, good frequency and temperature stability, and high reliability. The upper limit of its output frequency reaches 200MHz, which is three times higher than the existing domestic small temperature compensated crystal oscillator for aerospace.

Compared with the existing aerospace high-frequency temperature-compensated crystal oscillator, the volume is reduced to 1/20; compared with the small high-frequency temperature-compensated crystal oscillator with a split structure, the reliability is higher. Ordinary small high-frequency temperature-compensated crystal oscillator devices mostly adopt a split structure, and the circuits and components are not completely packaged together. When used in harsh environments such as aerospace, there are often hidden dangers of failure.
