DC-DC转换器是一种临时储存电能的设备,目的是将直流电(DC)从一个电压水平转换为另一个电压水平。在汽车应用中,它们是整个车辆不同电压水平的系统之间必不可少的中介。
DC-DC指直流转直流电源(Direct Current),DC-DC转换器以一个直流输入电压作为输入,输出一个不同的直流电压。输出直流电压可高于或低于直流输入电压。
DC-DC转换器一般由控制芯片,电感线圈,二极管,三极管,电容器构成。在讨论DC-DC转换器的性能时,如果单针对控制芯片,是不能判断其优劣的。其外围电路的元器件特性,和基板的布线方式等,能改变电源电路的性能,因此,应进行综合判断。
与线性稳压器的LDO相比较,效率高是DCDC的显著优势。通常效率在70%以上,效率高的可达到95%以上。
