SALEM, N.H., Feb. 20, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Standex International Corporation (NYSE: SXI) confirms that it has closed on its previously announced acquisition of Sanyu Switch Co., Ltd. In its first year of ownership, the Company still expects the acquisition to be accretive to its earnings and to achieve a double-digit return on invested capital.

“Completing the acquisition of Sanyu Switch Co., Ltd. continues Standex’s portfolio strategy of focusing on higher-margin businesses in faster growing markets,” said Standex Chairman and CEO David Dunbar. “We look forward to building on the legacy established by Sanyu and its employees over the last 50 years.”

Standex Electronics Announces the MK33 SMD Reed Switch Series: Optimized to Switch High Power in a Small Footprint

The new MK33 surface mount Reed Switch series from Standex Electronics blends high performance in a small footprint, ensured by its deliberate bare-glass design. Economic by design yet mechanically and electrically high performing. The high reliability KOFU switch, 10 VA power rating and height of 2.3 mm max., yields the MK33 series the lowest profile switch yet in our overall line-up of SMD switches. The MK33 comes in two lengths: 10 and 14 mm and switches maximum voltage levels of 200 VDC/VAC. Available in a max. switching current of 0.5A and 1A carry current.

The SIL HV Series High Voltage/High Current Reed Relays is an epoxy sealed, single-in-line package measuring only 24mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm. An optional offset pin-out measuring 29mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm is also available. Standard coil selections include 5 or 12 volts with or without diode suppression.
