In this article TERASILIC will introduce its Bike Radar Sensor, a revolutionary solution poised to transform cycling safety and convenience. Similar to the advanced collision-avoidance radar systems found in vehicles, TERASILIC's bike radar sensor utilizes cutting-edge 24GHz radar sensing technology. This groundbreaking technology enables the sensor to detect objects up to 190 meters behind the cyclist, significantly enhancing road safety.
TERASILIC's bike radar sensor offers two innovative options: the 1T1R and 1T2R solutions. The 1T1R solution boasts the longest detection range on the market, capable of detecting rear-approaching vehicles up to 190 meters away. Alternatively, the 1T2R solution provides advanced features such as Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Collision Warning (RCW), automatically switching between modes based on the detected situation to ensure optimal safety.
Both solutions are characterized by their low-power consumption and ability to detect up to 8 objects simultaneously. Rider safety is further enhanced through real-time environmental awareness, with detected information conveniently displayed on bike meters or mobile phones.
