Bluetooth technology is an open global standard for wireless data and voice communication, which is based on low-cost short-range wireless connections and establishes a special connection for fixed and mobile device communication environments. Bluetooth operates in the globally recognized 2.4GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) frequency band, using the IEEE802.11 protocol.

Introduction to Bluetooth gateway
The Bluetooth gateway mainly works in one master multi slave mode and is commonly used for data collection, sensor control, indoor positioning, etc. of surrounding Bluetooth devices in schools, shopping malls, and warehouses. The speed of the Bluetooth part can reach 1Mbs.
VDB2601 is a long-range Bluetooth gateway with PA, which can achieve ultra long distance coverage, with a maximum coverage distance of up to 100 meters in open environments!
VDB2601 is a beacon that integrates two wireless communication methods: WiFi and high-power Bluetooth BLE with PA. WiFi and Bluetooth communicate through a UART serial port to transmit broadcast data packets captured by Bluetooth scanning.
The gateway collects surrounding sensor data through Bluetooth scanning, performs preliminary processing, and uploads it to the server via WIFI. The gateway can also receive instructions from the server to connect and issue commands to surrounding devices.
Introduction to Beacon Features
Beacon is a broadcast protocol based on the low-power Bluetooth protocol, and it is also a low-power Bluetooth device (slave) that owns this protocol. As a Beacon device, it is usually placed in a fixed location indoors for continuous broadcasting to the surrounding area, but it cannot be connected to any low-power Bluetooth host. All broadcast data is arranged according to specific rules. Beacon continuously broadcasts to the surrounding environment while in operation, including device name, UUID, Major, Minor, and other information. These information can be modified through mobile applications.
