PROSE Technologies Achieves Third-Party Verification for 2023 Greenhouse Gas Emissions
PROSE Technologies, a leader in telecommunications innovation and sustainability, is proud to announce that its greenhouse gas emissions for the year 2023 have been verified by the local inspection and certification agency. This verification, conducted according to the stringent requirements of ISO14064-3, confirms that PROSE’s emissions reporting meets the standards of ISO14064-1, ensuring accuracy and transparency in the company’s environmental impact assessments.
Scope and Boundaries of the Verification
The verification covered both direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from PROSE Technologies' operations at its Suzhou facility. The emissions inventory included designing, producing, and managing various products and solutions, including radio frequency coaxial products, communication passive systems, active wireless coverage systems, base station antenna systems, microwave antenna systems, integrated cabling products, and data center infrastructure solutions.
Verified Emissions Data for 2023
The greenhouse gas emissions for the period from January 1st, 2023, to December 31st, 2023, were quantified and reported as follows:
- Total Emissions: 189,965 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Direct Emissions: 66.22 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Indirect Emissions from Energy Inputs: 3,569.22 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Indirect Emissions from Transportation: 1,991.54 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Indirect Emissions from the Organization's Products: 66,936.9 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Indirect Emissions from the Use of the Organization's Products: 117,400.6 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
- Other Indirect Emissions: 0 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
Commitment to Transparency and Sustainability
The verification process was based on data collected for the entire year of 2023, with the base year established as 2021. PROSE Technologies will continue to monitor and report its greenhouse gas emissions annually, aligning its operations with global sustainability standards and contributing to the broader effort to combat climate change.
