Connectivity: A new range of communication wireless technologies for the truck industry, covering both the original Equipment and the aftermarket demand, stemming from the acquisition earlier this year of a business unit of Calearo Antenne S.p.A. MTA's current range of antennas allows for the integration of communication technologies covering all entertainment, safety, and interconnection needs aboard the trucks.
Distribute and Protect: A dedicated range of heavy commercial electrified vehicle solutions. With its main specialization in power distribution and vehicle electric system protection, MTA counts many truck manufacturers among its most important customers and, recently, it has developed specific Power Distribution Units (PDU) for electrified platforms of major OEMs in this sector.
Charge: A complete range of On-board Battery Chargers (OBCs) for fully electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles in heavy-duty applications. The highlight of the fair is the new lightweight and compact BHP, proposed at a power class of 19,2 kW (BHP 19) for the US market and 22 kW (BHP22) for the European one. The main innovative aspect of the BHP is that it can be configured in either "Forward Charge Mode" or "Reverse Power Mode", thus allowing both for efficient charging of the vehicle’s battery from the grid and enabling the energy discharging back to the grid or other devices.

MTA opens a new Research ＆ Development center in Turin
MTA announces the opening of a new Research ＆ Development Centre in Turin, in the Mirafiori neighborhood, a district which hosts an automotive excellence hub where major global component suppliers have already settled. The new R＆D Centre of MTA, already operational, will employ at full capacity about 25 engineers dedicated to the development of electrical and electronic components.The new centre will also host a laboratory with bench tests and state-of-the art instrumentation to allow independent testing of the power electronics components developed here.

MTA announced the acquisition of a business unit of Calearo Antenne S.p.A.The business unit acquired by the MTA Group includes the activities of the Italian site of Isola Vicentina, consisting of the assets, patents, licences, and know-how utilised to produce various types of antennas (5G cellular, Wi-Fi, WB, AM/FM, DAB, SDARS, GNSS, V2X, etc.) both for original equipment and the aftermarket for the automotive, motorbike, truck and off-highway industries. The agreement safeguards all jobs, in fact all the people employed by Calearo Antenne have been transferred to MTA Antenne.
