上海贝岭“功率器件&电源IC”在PD快充中的应用
USB-PD,英文全称为USB Power Delivery,是USB的标准化组织USB-IF推出的一个快速充电的标准。经过近7年时间的发展与更新,如今的USB PD快充协议已经由最初的1.0版本、2.0版本、3.0版本发展到PPS(Programmable Power Supply),现在又推出了最新的3.1版本。目前为止,我们现有的使用消费类产品大部分停留在USB-PD 3.0的时代。
接口方面,当下USB-C即type C接口以其正反插即可、可通大电流的同时还能实现数据传输的优势稳居市场占有量最大。
从2010年到2021年,快充技术整体上基本经历了4次大的变更,功率从7.5W到最大可实现240W的功率等级。
快充技术方案概述
传统的手机充电器采用的是PSR反激电路,这种充电器的电路是最早研发被采用的,目前市场上15W以下的充电器大多也采用这种方案,相对于SSR来讲,PSR反激电路主要有以下优缺点:
优点:PSR 省掉了光耦、431 及它们周边元件,所以体积可以做得更小,价格更便宜;
缺点:PSR采用原边辅助绕组作为采样电压,由于变压器工艺、输出二极管的一致性、输出寄生电阻等因素,导致 PSR 输出精度较低,一般只用在小功率电源上(15W 以内)。
PSR反激电路
相对来讲,SSR电路较PSR电路要复杂一点,主要优缺点如下:
优点:由于采用的是副边反馈,所以反馈的速度比较快,精度更准确,使得电路的稳定性更高,动态响应速度更快,输出电压电流精度高,可应用的领域更多;
缺点:由于反馈控制要更快更精准,采用了光耦和431,使得电路板上元器件的成本增加。
SSR反激电路
现在的手机充电器电路方案:SSR反激电路+协议输出可调组成的电路。下图为目前市场上流通的带有协议的充电器采用的方案,也是目前市场上采用量最大的方案,输出功率从18W-120W不等;目前最新的充电器功率240W,后续也将大批量投入市场。
优点:输出功率随着手机和充电器的协议可以进行调节,而且输出稳定,采用MOS管用来同步整流大大减小了整流时的损耗,输出VBUS MOS管可及时对输出进行保护和调节,安全性高;
缺点:元器件多,成本高。
SSR反激电路+协议组合电路
现状较少但是未来有一定发展趋势的手机充电器电路方案:PFC+SSR反激电路+协议输出可调组成的电路。图中这种方案目前市场上流通量较少,但必定是未来发展趋势,这种手机充电器的功率一般是≥100W时才会采用这样的方案,后续随着充电器功能功率不断加大,这种方案采用的会更多。
优点:增加了PFC电路,使功率因数增大,在同等方案下充电器功率可以做得更大。
缺点:元器件多,成本高。

3.1手机充电器对功率MOSFET技术需求1
手机充电器中,PFC和初级开关管有如下技术需求:
高击穿电压:保证开关MOS能够不被击穿;
低内阻:导通状态下产生的功率小,发热少;
低开关损耗:使开关导致的损耗降低,发热减少;
低热阻:正常工作时发热量小;
低di/dt和dv/dt:开关状态下产生震荡以及杂波小,产生较小的电磁干扰。

3.2手机充电器对功率MOSFET技术需求2
手机充电器中整流开关管和VBUS开关管技术需求如下:
高击穿电压:保证开关MOS能够不被击穿;
低内阻:导通状态下产生的功率小,发热少;
低热阻:正常工作时发热量小;
高雪崩耐量:发生异常短路情况时会产生较大的电压电流尖峰,高雪崩耐量可使MOS管不被击穿;
短路电流能力强:短路瞬间会产生较大电流,MOS管需要有承受较大电流的能力。
