In response to the growing trend of highly integrated motor driver chips, MindMotion's latest MM32SPIN080G has been specially designed to integrate an HV-Buck control circuit, with pre-driver voltage tolerance up to 200V. It's perfect for applications in the 36V to 100V voltage range, though it can also be used in systems below 36V.

Here's how it works in detail:

For 5.5V to 15V applications: The system input voltage is directly applied to VCC12, and the HV-Buck module is not needed. In this case, it's recommended to ground the CSR pin (PIN5).

For 15V to 100V systems: The system input voltage is applied to the VIN of the HV-Buck module (PIN1), with VCC12 as the output from the HV-Buck. VCC12 powers the chip's internal 5.0V LDO and provides power to the external pre-driver chip.

With the MM32SPIN080G, you can eliminate the need for a separate DC-DC chip. This simplifies the selection process, reduces BOM costs, and saves board space, offering a higher cost-performance ratio for your product. In a competitive market, this can help you gain more market share.
