【IC】爱普生新推SG2016系列小尺寸SPXO,具有高频率、高稳定性和低相位抖动特性,适用于800G光传输模块
2022年10月12日,爱普生已开始运送一系列支持新型差分输出、采用简单封装的晶体振荡器(SPXO)样品。该系列产品包括SG2016EGN、SG2016EHN、SG2016VGN和SG2016VHN,在基频模式下都具有低相位抖动特性,采用小型封装,尺寸为2.0mmx1.6mm,产品高度的典型值为0.63mm。该产品计划将于2023年第一季度开始批量生产,产品实物图如下。
SG2016EGN和SG2016EHN
由于5G网络的增长和物联网(IoT)的实施,未来的数据流量将进一步增加。为了处理这种流量,光纤传输模块需要支持更快的速度和更大的容量,从400Gbps到800Gbps。下一代800G光传输模块的尺寸需要做得更小,因为它们将内置更大的数字信号处理器(DSP),需要更多的散热空间。
新的振荡器体积比其上一代产品爱普生的SG2520EGN、SG2520EHN、SG2520VGN和SG2520VHN小54%。和上一代产品一样,它们由一个HFF晶体单元和一个由爱普生设计的紧凑振荡器IC组成。它们还具有相同的高频率、高稳定性和低相位抖动特性,这些特性使其成为下一代800G光传输模块的理想选择。
