What Are the Speeds of QSFP Optical Transceivers?
The optical transceiver is composed of optoelectronic devices, functional circuits and optical interfaces. The optoelectronic device includes transmitting and receiving parts. The transmitting part is: input the electrical signal with a certain code rate, and then drive the semiconductor laser (LD) or light-emitting diode (LED) to emit the modulated optical signal with the corresponding rate after being processed by the internal driving chip. It has an optical power automatic control circuit to keep the output optical signal power stable. The receiving part is: the optical signal of a certain code rate is input into the module and then converted into an electrical signal by the light detection diode.
Ⅰ. Classification of optical transceivers:
(1) According to the speed: 100Base (100M), 1000Base (Gigabit), 10GE for Ethernet applications; 155M, 622M, 2.5G, 10G for SDH applications.
(2) According to the package: 1×9, SFF, SFP, GBIC, XENPAK, XFP and SFP+, QSFP, QSFP+.

Ⅱ. What are the speeds of QSFP Optical Transceivers? What kinds of common QSFP optical transceivers and optical cables are there?
QSFP optical transceivers include: 200GQSFP-DD 2x100g-SR4 100m optical transceivers; QSFP optical cables include: 200G-SR4 QSFP DD AOC active optical cable, 40G QSFP to 8x LC PSM AOC, 56G 150m QSFP AOC active optical cable.
(1) 200G QSFP-DD 2x100G-SR4 100m optical transceiver
200GQSFP-DD optical transceiver is a high-performance optical module for short-distance multi-lane data communication and interconnection applications. It integrates 8 data channels in each direction with a bandwidth of 8x25.78125Gbps. Each channel can use OM3 fiber or 100m with OM4 fiber, running to 70m at a speed of 25.78125Gbps.
These modules are designed to use a multimode fiber system with a nominal wavelength of 850nm. The electrical interface uses 76 contact edge type connectors. The optical interface uses a 24-fiber MTP (MPO) connector. The module integrates technology-proven circuits and VCSEL technology to provide reliable long-life, high-performance and consistent services.
(2) 200G-SR4 QSFP DD AOC active optical cable
gqd-mdo201-xxxc is an eight-channel, pluggable, parallel, fiber optical QSFP double density for 2x100gigabit Ethernet applications. This optical module is a high-performance module for short-distance multi-lane data communication and interconnection applications. It integrates 8 data channels in each direction with a bandwidth of 8x25.78125Gbps. Each channel can use OM3 fiber to transmit 70m or OM4 fiber to transmit 100m.
(3) 40G QSFP 8x LC PSM AOC active optical cable
The QSFP PSM8x lc AOC breakthrough is a high-performance, low-power, up to 40g Ethernet interconnection solution supported by Fibre Channel as PCIe.
This is compliant with QSFP to MSA and 40gbe PSM4. The QSFP PSM 8x lc AOC breakthrough is an assembly of 4 full-duplex channels, where each channel can transmit data at a typical speed of 10.3125gb/s, providing an aggregate speed of 41.25gb/s. These breakthrough cables are connected to one end of a 40g QSFP+ switch and the other end of the Sigang 10g SFP+ transceiver switch.
(4) 56G 150m QSFP AOC active optical cable
QSFP active optical cable is a high-performance, low-power, long-interconnectable high-performance optical cable solution that supports InfiniBand FDR/QDR/DDR/SDR, 16g/10g/8g/4g/2g fiber channel as PCIe and SAS.
It is compatible with QSFP MSA and IEEEP802.3ba 40gbase-sr4. QSFP AOC is a combination of 4 full-duplex channels, each channel can transmit data to 14.0625Gb/s, providing an aggregation rate of 56Gb/s.
