About Zoov

Zoov is the technological benchmark when it comes to self-service electric bikes in Europe, thanks to smart, effective, sturdy electric bikes, as well as a compact, economical parking and charging infrastructure. Zoov allows cities and operators to incorporate their electric bikes into their mobility solutions, or to enhance their existing service thanks to its IoT technology and fleet management tools.

The Challenge

Connectivity is the cornerstone of electric bike solutions. Wi-Fi and cellular technology means riders are more connected than ever before. To ensure their electric bikes stay truly connected, with reliable real-time knowledge, Zoov requires high-performance Wi-Fi and cellular antennas. Additionally, with stations and bikes set up across Paris, Bordeaux and plans to expand its model across many other cities across France, Zoov has designed its bikes to adhere to the most rigorous standards of comfort and safety. High performance hardware requires robust but lightweight antennas that are sturdy enough to handle a wide range of environmental conditions.

The Solution

Zoov chose TAOGLAS’ Ultima II G35, a permanent mount antenna designed for wideband cellular use and the Ultima MA530 Wi-Fi MIMO external antenna. Both antennas are super low-profile and durable - expertly designed to withstand the test of time in an urban environment. They’re heavy duty, fully IP67 waterproof and there are no external metal parts that may corrode.

The Outcome:
