【应用】耐6500mA纹波电流的引线型导电性高分子固体铝电解电容器PES/PSJ系列助力POL转换器系统设计
对于很多嵌入式系统而言,通常需要把供电电压先转换为中间电压之后(如48V转换为5V),再进一步转换为电路板所需的电压(常见的电压范围是0.8V~3.3V),常用的解决方案是利用负载点(POL)转换器来得到电路板所需的电压。考虑到系统的空间较小、缺少冷却系统,因此对POL转换器的尺寸、效率都有比较高的要求。针对POL转换器设计,Nippon Chemi-Con(黑金刚)公司提供专业解决方案,系统框图如下图1所示。其中,铝电解电容器可用于直流回路的滤波,降低交流脉动波纹系数,平滑直流输出。在进行解决方案选取时,通常需要考虑其额定电压、阻抗、额定纹波电流、工作温度范围等因素。

针对此,本文推荐采用Nippon Chemi-Con推出的引线型导电性高分子固体铝电解电容器——PSE系列和PSJ系列,采用导电性高分子电解质,工作温度范围为-55℃~+105℃,具备出色的温度特性、超低的ESR(等效串联电阻,如下图2所示,可低至7mΩ(20℃、100kHz~300kHz))、耐高纹波电流、尺寸小、耐清洗等优势,并且符合RoHS 2标准。其中,PSE系列的额定电压范围为2.5V~6.3V,静电容量为470μF、560μF或820μF,在20℃、120Hz条件下的静电容量容许差±20% (M),额定纹波电流(最大允许纹波电流)为4700mA或5000mA(105℃、100kHz),出色的耐纹波电流性能,可满足大部分POL转换器系统的设计要求。此外,在105℃条件下,连续加载额定电压20000小时后,在20℃条件下进行测量,此时静电容量变化率低于初始值的±20%、损失角正切值小于等于初始规格值的150%、ESR小于等于初始规格值的200%、漏电流小于等于初始规格值,具备出色的耐久性。

除了PSE系列之外,PSJ系列也是非常不错的选择,两者的浪涌电压均为额定电压(Vdc)的1.15倍,具备出色的浪涌电压特性。但需要注意的是,与PSE系列略有不同,PSJ具备更出色的耐久性(105℃,2000~5000小时)。同时,如下图3所示,PSJ系列的额定电压为2.5V,静电容量为390μF、470μF或560μF,可低至4mΩ(20℃、300kHz),额定纹波电流(最大允许纹波电流)为5200mA、5600mA、6200mA或6500mA(105℃、100kHz),同样适用于POL转换器系统设计。此外,PSE系列(上)和PSJ系列(下)的订购信息如图4所示。
