本文中全业电子将为大家解析TVS瞬态抑制二极管原理及选用时需考虑的因素。在规定的反向应用条件下,当承受高能瞬时过压脉冲时,其工作阻抗可立即降至很低的导通值,允许大电流通过,并将电压限制到预定水平。从而有效保护电子线路中的精密元件免受损坏。TVS能承受的瞬时脉冲功率可达数千瓦,其钳位响应时间仅为1ps(10~12)。TVS允许的正向浪涌电流在T=25℃、T=10ms的条件下达到50~200A。双向TVS可以在正反方向吸收瞬时大脉冲功率,将电压限制到预定水平。双向TVS适用于交流电路,单向TVS一般用于DC电路。
TVS二极管选用需考虑因素
(1)如果TVS可能承受来自两个方向的峰值脉冲电压(浪涌电压)的冲击,则应选择双极性,否则可选择单极性;
(2)TVS的VC值应低于被保护元件的高电压。VC是二极管在截止状态下的电压,即在ESD冲击状态下通过TVS的电压。它不能大于被保护电路的极*电压,否则设备将面临损坏的危险;
(3)TVS在正常工作状态下不应处于击穿状态,优秀在VR以下,应综合考虑VR和VC的要求,选择合适的TVS;
(4)如果你知道更准确的浪涌电流IPP,你可以使用VCIPP来确定功率;如果不能确定IPP的一般范围,最好选择功率较大的TVS;
(5)TVS能承受的瞬态脉冲不重复,设备规定的脉冲重复频率(持续时间与间歇时间之比)为0.01%。如果电路中出现重复性脉冲,应考虑脉冲功率的积累,否则可能会损坏TVS;
(6)对于小电流负载的保护,可以有意识地在线路中增加限流电阻。只要限流电阻的电阻值合适,一般不会影响线路的正常运行,但限流电阻对干扰的电流会大大降低。但是,可以选择峰值功率较小的TVS管来保护小电流负载线路;
(7)电容C是由TVS雪结决定的,这是由特定的1-hz频率决定的。因此,C是数据接口电路选择TVS的重要参数。数据/信号频率越高,二极管电容对电路的干扰越大,形成噪声或衰减信号强度越大。因此,所选设备的电容范围需要根据电路的特性来确定。一般来说,电容应尽可能选择高频电路(如LCTVS小于3pp)。电容要求不高于40pp;
(8)为了满足IEC61000-4-2的国际标准,TVS二极管必须达到可接触的小*必须是k(接触)(接触)和15英镑(空气)。
