SGM38045是圣邦微电子重点推出的一颗专门为智能手环、智能手表等小尺寸AMOLED显示屏提供AVDD、ELVDD、ELVSS的无电感电源管理芯片。
SGM38045独特的无电感架构,保证高效率的同时,省掉传统DC/DC架构所需的功率电感,消除终端客户整机厚度受电感高度制约的问题,节省电感的成本。此外,当用在显示屏模组柔性电路板(FPC)上时,其支持通孔设计的引脚布局方式,大幅度降低了FPC的成本。
SGM38045无电感设计
传统升压或升降压架构AMOLED电源采用1μH至4.7μH的功率电感,其厚度往往达到0.8mm,低于0.6mm的电感极少且成本较高。SGM38045的主电源采用具有旁路功能的×1.5电荷泵架构,无需功率电感,这对于深受电感高度限制的整机厚度来说大有裨益;尤其当电源芯片放在屏模组FPC上时,模组的避空设计会更加方便。
SGM38045支持双层通孔FPC设计
SGM38045特别适合应用在AMOLED屏模组FPC上。其独特的WLCSP-1.2×2.4-17B封装引脚布局方案,允许客户使用通孔FPC进行设计,这避免了常规引脚布局时为防止焊盘过孔漏锡问题而采用盲埋孔工艺的需求。这也意味着SGM38045可以支持采用通孔的双层FPC,从而大幅降低了FPC成本。如下为SGM38045支持通孔设计的引脚布局示意图:

SGM38045基本工作原理
SGM38045是一颗采用×1/×1.5自适应模式电荷泵结构的无电感小尺寸AMOLED电源。以3.3V输出为例,当电源电压VIN高于3.7V时,主电荷泵工作在1倍压输出的Bypass直通模式,主输出电压VVOP≈VIN;当电源电压VIN低于3.7V时,主电荷泵工作在1.5倍压输出的模式。此后经AVDD、OVDD两个LDO分别产生AVDD、OVDD两个正压输出;经负压电荷泵(×(-1)Negative Charge Pump),和LDO OVSS产生负压OVSS。
SGM38045主要特性
2.7V至4.8V输入电压范围;
3.3V AVDD输出电压;
2.8V至3.5V OVDD输出电压范围(默认输出:3.3V±0.9%,0.1V步进);
-2.8V至-3.5V OVSS输出电压范围(默认输出:-3.3V±0.9%,0.1V步进);
高达70mA OVDD&OVSS输出电流能力;
OVDD-OVSS效率高达89.2%;
无电感自有专利电路结构;
支持PCB通孔设计;
优秀的线性和负载调整率;
低纹波和优秀的瞬态响应;
真输出负载与输入分离;
欠压锁定、过流保护、短路保护和过温保护功能;
轻载效率下节能(Power-Save)模式;
低于1μA关断电流;
符合环保理念的WLCSP-1.2×2.4-17B绿色封装。
