Rosenberger HDCS Builds Hospital Network Cabling Links to Help Healthcare Networks
The Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University was established in 1886. It is a large synthesizer Three Level of First-class Hospital with ophthalmology and otolaryngology as the national key disciplines. In addition, its ophthalmology ranks in the top three of all Chinese hospitals.
Beijing Tongren Hospital Yizhuang Branch came into service in June 2004. It is not only the largest hospital, but also has the most complete departments and the most advanced equipment in Yizhuang. It is also the only Three Level of First-class Hospitalin south eastern Beijing. In order to relieve the operating pressure, Yizhuang branch of Beijing Tongren Hospital launched the second phase expansion project, which will be put into service in 2020.

With excellent manufacturing experience, feasible medical solutions and reasonable product selections, ROSENBERGER builds a network cabling links with high-performance and high reliability for Tongren Hospital. The unique product solution for the medical industry has passed several rounds of assessment and strict screening by the hospital. In the end, the Rosenberger HDCS high-quality full range of solutions has been accepted by Tongren Hospital’s comprehensive cabling system.
In order to ensure the safety of people's lives and the property safety of equipment to the maximum extent, all copper cables, optical cables, and data cables have to use Rosenberger LSZH Solution. The vertical backbone adopts Rosenberger 24-core OM3 10 Gigabit multi-mode LSZH optical cable. Thence, it can easily support the rapid connection of each ward to the backbone of the hospital computer room, support Ethernet application 10G transmission 300 meters, and support 40G/100G transmission according to the international standard. Modular designed produtcs can support future 40G / 100G or even 400G upgrade applications.
Cat6 LSZH LAN cables together with Rosenberger Cat6 Pegasus toolless keystone jacks are used for the horizontal subsystem. Rosenberger provides copper panel, each port is equipped with spring self-reset dust cover, which avoids dust entering in the process of use and affecting transmission performance.
The medical data center adopts Rosenberger Germany's advanced and mature high-density data center pre-terminated fiber solution which complies with the new data center standard TIA-942. This data center adopts the EOR architecture, and the cables all use LSZH flame retardant grade. The optical fiber solution products use Norma series OM3 10G pre-terminated optical cables and VELA high-density fiber panel. Cat.6A shielded copper cables and shielded 48-port copper panels are used for copper cabling sub system. The attenuation performance of all links much exceeds the latest international standards such as ISO/IEC11801, TIA/EIA 568.2-D , because the whole fiber system adoption of a new generation of ultra-low loss pre-terminated fiber optic cable technology. This not only ensures the normal operation of the network communication on the platform of Tongren Hospital, but also creates a solid physical link foundation for future network upgrades. At the same time, it is compatible with the physical links required by 5G networks, which provides a reliable physical link for the future smart medical network architecture.
