CH378是文件管理控制芯片,用于单片机系统快速读写U盘或者SD卡中的文件,支持USB设备方式和USB主机方式,并且内置了USB通讯协议的基本固件,内置了处理Mass-Storage海量存储设备的专用通讯协议的固件,内置了SD卡的通讯接口固件,内置了FAT16和FAT32以及FAT12文件系统的管理固件,支持常用的USB存储设备(包括U盘/USB硬盘/USB闪存盘/USB读卡器)和SD卡(包括标准容量SD卡和高容量HC-SD卡以及协议兼容的MMC卡和TF卡)。
CH378支持三种通讯接口:8位并口、SPI接口或者异步串口,单片机/DSP/MCU/MPU等控制器可以通过上述任何一种通讯接口控制CH378芯片,存取U盘或者SD卡中的文件或者与计算机通讯。

内置FAT16和FAT32以及FAT12文件系统的管理固件,支持容量高达32GB的U盘和SD卡。
提供文件管理功能:打开、新建或删除文件、枚举和搜索文件、创建子目录、支持长文件名。
提供文件读写功能:以字节为最小单位或者以扇区为单位对多级子目录下的文件进行读写。
提供磁盘管理功能:初始化磁盘、查询物理容量、查询剩余空间、物理扇区读写。

提供高速8位被动并行接口,支持连接到单片机的并行数据总线。
