【应用】美浦森推出230W碳化硅+氮化镓LLC电源方案,完美解决游戏本对于快充电源需求
对于传统笔电本电脑的适配器而言,大块头是多年来一直无法摆脱的梦魇,尤其是游戏本电源。直到氮化镓技术正式商用,这种现象才逐渐得以改善,让小体积、大功率成为可能。
近日,业内知名碳化硅器件原厂美浦森推出了一套230W的碳化硅+氮化镓电源参考设计,其功率密度达到了1.47W/cm3,相较于传统电源而言,体积缩小一半。为大功率游戏本电源提供了更加轻巧、便携快充充电器方案。
一、美浦森230W碳化硅+氮化镓电源方案外观
美浦森230W碳化硅+氮化镓电源方案基于单块PCB板开发,并且预留了折叠插脚的空间。正面结构清晰,主要分布着电容、电感、整流桥、变压器等插件元器件,其中高压滤波电解电容横向放置,降低整套方案的厚度,另有一根接地导线横跨初级和次级。
次级侧元器件布局相对较少,输出采用了四颗固态电容以及一颗电感滤波。
该套电源方案基于PFC+LLC高性能电源架构开发,在其中的PFC升压部分,采用了一颗美浦森的碳化硅二极管,用于升压后的整流。此外还采用了四颗氮化镓功率器件,分别用于PFC升压和LLC半桥。
尺寸方面,实测整套方案的PCB板的长度约为97.86mm。
宽度约为67.82mm。
厚度约为23.5mm。经计算该方案的体积约为155.82cm3,功率密度1.47W/cm3。
二、美浦森230W碳化硅+氮化镓电源方案核心器件
美浦森230W碳化硅+氮化镓电源方案采用了一颗LLC+PFC合封控制芯,该芯片内置数字架构控制,简化了设计的同时减少外围元件数量,同时也内置多重完善的保护功能。
两颗英诺赛科INN650D02氮化镓功率器件,用作PFC升压开关管。该器件额定耐压为650V,峰值耐压750V,导阻低至0.2Ω,符合JEDEC标准的工业应用要求,支持ESD保护,支持开尔文源极,最高工作温度150℃。
PFC升压整流管为美浦森MSM06065G1碳化硅二极管,采用DFN5*6封装,超薄封装节省体积,适用于高功率密度的大功率氮化镓适配器中。
美浦森MSM06065G1碳化硅二极管耐压650V,150℃连续正向电流6A,工作温度范围-55到175℃,正向压降1.3V,并具有正温度系数特性,可直接并联使用。可应用于开关电源,功率因数校正,马达驱动和PD电源应用。
另外还采用了两颗英诺赛科INN650DA260A,在此方案中作为LLC半桥。这是英诺赛科第二代氮化镓功率器件,同时也是一款高性价比、耐压650V的氮化镓高压单管,瞬态耐压750V,得益于工艺改进,相比英诺赛科之前的氮化镓器件,性能有明显的提升,适用于65-120W的反激架构,120-200W的LLC架构。
总结
得益于碳化硅和氮化镓技术在消费类电源市场的迅速应用,百瓦以内的USB PD快充电源,在产品体积和输出功率方面做到了极致的均衡,目前也有众多手机和笔电厂商推出了百瓦碳化硅+氮化镓快充电源,便携性和效率大幅提升。
在适用于游戏本充电的200W、300W大功率领域,目前成熟的方案相对较少,美浦森这套230W碳化硅+氮化镓电源方案完美解决了游戏本对于电源的困扰。
据了解,除了该方案应用到的碳化硅二极管外,美浦森还有TO252、DFN8*8等封装的碳化硅二极管器件,以及100V/120V应用于同步整流、30V应用于Vbus等中低压产品,以满足不同厂商的选型需求,并已经在各大厂商百瓦充电头已经广泛应用,如:绿联100W氮化镓四口桌面充、摩米士100W 2A2C氮化镓快充、REMAX 100W四口氮化镓快充 、安述240W氮化镓+碳化硅适配器、SPRUCE 140W 3C1A无线充二合一充电座等。
