【应用】国产低功耗升压DCDC SGM6603用于激光测距望远镜,转换效率可达90%
激光测距望远镜就是通过激光二极管发射激光,光电二极管接收激光信号,通过计算信号从发射到接收所用的时间,从而计算出观测者到目标的距离,某客户在设计激光测距望远镜时,采用3V锂电池供电,由于后续的系统有更高压的需求,客户打算将3V升压到5.5V给其它器件供电,给客户推荐了圣邦微的升压DCDC SGM6603。

SGM6603主要有以下优势:
输入电压0.9V-5.5V,输出电压可调,最高输出电压可达5.5V,能满足客户输入输出需求。
功耗低,SGM6603静态电流仅为30μA,关断电流低至1μA,可以延长电池的使用寿命。
SGM6603A的转换效率可达90%,工作模式为强制PWM模式,即使在轻负载下也保持着1.2MHZ恒定的开关频率,可以减少输出纹波和避免噪声干扰。
采用SOT23-6的小封装设计,减少了PCB板的面积,更有利于产品的小型化设计。
综上所述,SGM6603具有低功耗,高效率,小封装等特点,可以满足客户激光测距望远镜系统供电设计需求。

我们仅从优缺点来做简单的分析 LDO优点:稳定性好,负载响应快。输出纹波小。缺点:效率低,输入输出的电压差不能太大。 DC/DC:直流电压转直流电压。严格来讲,LDO也是DC/DC的一种,但目前DC/DC多指开关电源。具有很多种拓朴结构,如BUCK,BOOST。等优点:效率高,输入电压范围较宽。缺点:负载响应比LDO差,输出纹波比LDO大。 可见LDO只能是降压,DCDC 有升压,降压,升降压多种结构。 由于MOSFET的导通电阻很小,因而它上面的电压降非常低。 如果输入电压和输出电压很接近,最好是选用LDO稳压器,可达到很高的效率。所以,在把锂离子电池电压转换为3V输出电压的应用中大多选用LDO稳压器。虽说电池的能量最后有百分之十是没有使用,LDO稳压器仍然能够保证电池的工作时间较长,同时噪音较低。 如果输入电压和输出电压不是很接近,就要考虑用开关型的DCDC了,应为从上面的原理可以知道,LDO的输入电流基本上是等于输出电流的,如果压降太大,耗在LDO上能量太大,效率不高。 DC-DC转换器包括升压、降压、升/降压和反相等电路。DC-DC转换器的优点是效率高、可以输出大电流、静态电流小。随著集成度的提高,许多新型DC-DC转换器仅需要几只外接电感器和滤波电容器。但是,这类电源控制器的输出脉动和开关噪音较大、成本相对较高。 总的来说,升压是一定要选DCDC的,降压,是选择DCDC还是LDO,要在成本,效率,噪声和性能上比较。
