【应用】Epson低功耗高精度TCXO/VC-TCXO TG5032CBN:蜂窝基站系统设计理想选择
在通信系统中,蜂窝网络的形状像“蜂窝”一样,如图1所示,各蜂窝基站的信号覆盖范围呈六角网格状,同时出于节约成本的考虑,六角网格是性价比最高的选择。EPSON(爱普生)公司作为全球最大的晶体及时钟产品解决方案提供商,占全球超过1/5的市场份额,是全球唯一既生产晶体,又制造IC的厂商。针对蜂窝网络中的基站设备,Epson为其提供了专业的晶体振荡器解决方案,用于产生基站设备所需的高精度时钟信号,从而确保基站设备的正常有序运行。

Epson公司提供的蜂窝基站系统框图如图2所示,对于晶体振荡器的选取(如图2中的A),本文主要推荐采用超高精度TCXO(温度补偿晶体振荡器)/VC-TCXO(压控温度补偿晶体振荡器)TG5032CBN,电源电压为3.3V或5.0V(典型值),输出频率范围为10MHz~50MHz,频率老化率为±0.5×10-6(25°C,第一年),在工作温度范围内,频率温度特性不超过±0.28×10-6(最大值,Stratum3规格),可见其输出精度完全可以满足蜂窝基站的要求。此外,具备10引脚以及超小的封装尺寸(5.0mm × 3.2mm × 1.45mm),工作温度范围为-40°C~+85°C,出色的环境适应性。

值得一提的是,TG5032CBN的频率初期公差不超过±1.0×10-6(10MHz ~ 40MHz)或±0.9×10-6(40MHz ~ 50MHz),上升/下降时间不超过8.0ns,振荡器启动时间为2.0s(最大值,Filter: 标准)或5.0ms(最大值,Non-Filter: 选择),在90%VCC条件时,启动时间为0s,可见其起振速度快,响应迅速;另外,在10MHz~26MHz、3.3V条件下,功耗(ICC)最大值为5.0mA,在40MHz~50MHz、5.0V条件下,功耗(ICC)最大值为10.0mA,有利于降低系统功耗。关于TG5032CBN的订购信息如图3所示,更多关于TG5032CBN的信息及在线采购可在世强官网搜索获取,例如:
