SOFT-SHIELD® 4800型是Parker Chomerics推荐的一款导电泡棉材料,图1中所展示的是该款泡棉制成屏蔽衬垫后的实物。该款材料的制成方式比较特别,没有采用常见的金属化面料包裹泡沫芯的工艺,而是采用了镀银纤维嵌入包裹开孔式聚氨酯泡沫芯的工艺。这种工艺制程相对比较复杂,但是优点也是显而易见的,其导电性能更加稳定,Z轴方向上的导电性也更佳,接地路径更短。纯银镀层也是除了纯金以外,导电性能最佳的金属镀层,并且在20MHz到10GHz极宽的频率范围内,能够提供95dB以上的屏蔽效能。因此,这类泡棉材料更加强调的是优异的导电性能,最适合用于电磁屏蔽和导电性能要求高的应用环境。
从结构上看,这种导电纤维嵌入泡沫芯的创新设计,不仅提供了良好的电气性能,还具有非常优秀的物理和机械性能。压缩应力低,永久压缩量小于15%,在多次疲劳循环后仍能保持稳定的电气性能,导通电阻小于10mΩ(50%压缩量)。实用性方面,这款材料采用的是平面卷筒的生产工艺,而不是常见的长条形材料。可以说,这款导电泡棉是专为各种平面衬垫应用而设计的,通过模切的方式,可以很容易的制成各种接口面板所需的屏蔽衬垫产品,例如I/O接口面板,插座底板、连接器面板和检修面板,等等。

SOFT-SHIELD® 2000系列导电泡棉,是一款以镀银尼龙纱布为面料,包裹热塑性EPDM(三元乙丙橡胶)泡沫芯制成的产品。镀银尼龙线的导电性非常好,纱布面料的摩擦力相对较大,有一定的摩擦止动效果,安装后的稳定性相对更好。EPDM泡沫芯的优点是柔性高、弹性好,压缩应力小于1磅/英寸。同时该泡棉的压缩余量范围推荐值为15%~55%,可以充分适应结构公差,安装配合度相当高。

Parker Chomerics的5000系列导电泡棉材料,采用银镍尼龙防撕布作为导电面料,包裹聚氨酯泡沫芯制成。面料强度高,导电性能和屏蔽效果好。软聚氨酯泡沫芯提供了极低的材料压缩应力,可用于轻型材料的安装结构,方便灵活且不影响屏蔽效果。可以提供各种截面形状的产品,以及其他的特殊截面结构。最终衬垫产品的长度等关键尺寸,都可以根据客户需求进行定制生产,以求能够提供最切合实际需求的产品。
