示波器能够把电信号转换成人眼可识别的图像,其原理是利用高速的电子束击打在涂有荧光材料的屏幕,从而产生人眼可识别的光点。通过示波器可以观察各种信号的波形曲线,典型的示波器系统框图如图1所示。从图1中可以看出,为了保证各器件(如ADC、MCU、USB等)的正常有序工作,时钟信号是必不可少的一部分。时钟信号是通过系统中的时钟振荡电路产生,电路具备较低的增益,有利于降低系统功耗,但是其他杂波的存在会影响时钟信号的准确度。为了尽可能保证信号准确度,通常采用具备高精度、低负载电容(负载电容值越低,起振灵敏度越高)的晶体振荡器来进行时钟振荡电路设计。

EPSON(爱普生)公司是全球最大的晶体振荡器IC供应商,占据全球市场1/5左右的份额,是唯一一家生产晶体并制作IC的厂商。世强代理Epson旗下所有产品,库存丰富且正品保证。因此,对于示波器系统中的时钟振荡电路设计,本文主要推荐采用Epson公司的SG-210STF晶体振荡器,输出频率范围宽至1MHz~75MHz,电源电压范围1.8V~3.3V(典型值),频率老化率不超过±3×10-6/year(+25℃,第一年),频率稳定度可低至±100×10-6,输出精度高,基本能够满足市面上所有示波器系统的设计需求。


在不同的频率、不同的环境温度下(-40°C~+105°C),SG-210STF所支持的电源电压(VCC)输入也是不相同的,如图2所示,包括1.60V~3.63V、1.71V~3.63V以及2.25V~3.63V三种。另外,其振荡启动时间不超过3ms(在90%VCC条件下可低至0s),上升/下降时间不超过3ns/3.5ns(1.8V±10%),起振速度快,可满足示波器系统的需求。此外,SG-210STF的负载电容不超过15pF,有利于避免系统出现误操作的情况。

值得一提的是,SG-210STF的待机电流可低至2.1µA(VCC=1.8V±10%),有利于降低系统功耗。从图2中还可以看出,在不同的频率范围、不同的输出电压下所消耗电流也略有不同。例如:在20MHz~40MHz、VCC=1.8V±10%,消耗电流不超过1.8mA;在40MHz~60MHz、VCC=3.3V±10%,消耗电流不超过2.6mA。此外,SG-210STF具备2.5mm × 2.0mm × 0.8mm的小尺寸封装,能够降低对系统空间的占用,其订购信息如下图3所示。更多的解决方案及爱普生晶体振荡器的小批量采购可在世强官网搜索获取,例如:

如何判断晶振是否被过分驱动?

可用一台示波器检测OSC输出脚,如果检测到非常清晰的正弦波,且正弦波的上限值和下限值都符合时钟输入需要,则晶振未被过分驱动;相反,如果正弦波形的波峰,波谷两端被削平,而使波形成为方形,则晶振被过分驱动。这时就需要用电阻RS来防止晶振被过分驱动。判断电阻RS值大小的最简单的方法就是串联一个5k或10k的微调电阻,从0开始慢慢调高,一直到正弦波不再被削平为止。通过此办法就可以找到最接近的电阻RS值。
