More and more smart home solutions use WiFi-Bluetooth combo modules. Its advantage lies in the integration of two communication technologies, WiFi and Bluetooth. This solution can simplify the hardware structure design and reduce product cost. Customers can rapidly develop embedded wireless products. It is suitable for IoT data acquisition, processing, and remote control.

Smart products collect data from smart terminal devices via Bluetooth. Then it uploads the data to the server via WiFi. Users can remotely control smart terminal devices through WiFi.

1. UART WiFi Bluetooth Combo Module LCS2028

The LCS2028 integrates 2.4GHz single-band 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. The module supports UART/Bluetooth/WiFi/Ethernet data transmission. It supports dual-role connection of AP and STA and supports both classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth low-energy connections.

The LCS2028 module operates at speeds up to 120MHz and has 256KB of built-in RAM. It can provide customers with safe, stable, and fast IoT wireless application development.

2. Support Tuya platform WiFi Bluetooth combination module WG235

WG235 integrates Bluetooth dual-mode 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n chips. The chip integrates the hardware and software resources required for complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications. It can support AP and STA dual-role connections, as well as classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth low-energy connections.

The WG235 module supports PWM, I²C, UART, SPI, SDIO, and IRDA. It can meet the data collection, transmission, and remote control needs of smart homes.

The WG235 module can optionally support the Tuya License version. It can be directly connected to the Tuya platform to realize product intelligence.

3. Support HarmonyOS WiFi Bluetooth combination module WG238

The WG238 is a Bluetooth dual-mode 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n module. The module integrates hardware and software resources needed to complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications, supports AP and STA dual-role connections, and supports both classic and low-power Bluetooth connections.

WG238 has a wealth of peripherals, such as PWM, I²C, UART, SPI, SDIO, and IRDA. You can download and burn the program directly through UART. Up to six channels of 32-bit high-speed PWM output use the chip ideal for high-quality LED control. Each 2 PWM can be configured for the phase-controlled differential mode to support motor and lamp strip drives.

4. Support WiFi6 Bluetooth combination module WG236

WG236 integrates Bluetooth Dual Mode 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11ax chips. The chip integrates hardware and software resources needed to complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications, supports AP and STA dual-role connections, and supports both classic and low-power Bluetooth connections. An MCU running at speeds up to 240MHz and built-in 512KB RAM enables the chip to support cloud connectivity.

WG236 has a wealth of peripherals, such as PWM, I²C, UART, and SPI. You can download and burn the program directly through UART. Up to six channels of 32-bit high-speed PWM output use the chip ideal for high-quality LED control. Each 2 PWM can be configured for the phase-controlled differential mode to support motor and lamp strip drives.

Scenario applications of WiFi and Bluetooth combination modules include smart sockets, smart light controls, smart buildings, and smart factories.
