近年来,随着各国政府不断推出各项举措以推动燃油经济性层面的改善,各大汽车厂商也开始积极寻求新的市场机会。在全球范围内,针对电动汽车(EV)的需求正呈爆炸式增长,也越来越为主流市场所接受。


随着电动汽车产量的增加,新的难题也出现了,如应用中的电磁干扰(EMI)问题。电动汽车采用高功率电子器件来操作电动引擎,产生大量低频电磁干扰。干扰是电子应用中的一个常见问题,但在电动车的应用中,由于安全、效率和性能都依赖于电子装置,因此严重的EMI可能会导致诸多隐患。

从电动汽车的构造来看,EMI主要有以下来源(图2):

  • 功率转换器是电力驱动系统内EMI的主要来源。该系统需要用到高速开关器件,如传统的绝缘栅双极型晶体管(IGBT),在2-20kHz的频率下工作。快速IGBT和碳化硅(SiC)金属氧化物半导体场效应晶体管(MOSFET)可在更高频率下工作。

  • 电动机在高功率水平下工作,造成电磁辐射(EME),并通过阻抗为EMI提供路径,阻抗随频率而变化。

  • 牵引电池和互连器件中的电流成为电场和磁场(EMF)的排放源,为EMI创造了路径。

  • 屏蔽和非屏蔽的电缆在电动汽车的子系统之间承载高水平的电流,导致更强的磁场。由于布线空间有限,高压和低压电缆被安置在邻近位置,造成它们之间的EMI。

  • 电池充电器和无线充电设施是主要的外部电磁干扰源。连接到无线充电器会产生一个强磁场,将电力传输到电动汽车上。

宽带隙半导体怎么样?

宽带隙(WBG)半导体,如SiC和氮化镓(GaN),具备高功率和高效率,但随着开关频率的增加,会产生EMI影响。基于SiC的器件可容纳较小的无源EMI滤波器,但EMI往往集中在高频范围内。无源元件在高频下的非理想性能表现对滤波器的设计带来了挑战。必要时,调整滤波器方案以减少电感/电容值和滤波器尺寸是减少EPC和等效串联电感(ESL)的另一种手段。值得注意的是在设计中还有许多其他方法来顺应这一趋势。


电动汽车中的EMI电容器

在电动汽车应用中,滤波电容器,也被称为EMI滤波器,通常用作输入和输出电容器。它们的作用是消除线路上的噪声和其他不需要的信号。在系统的高压交流电(AC)侧,电容器通常提供EMI滤波,而在子系统的直流电(DC)侧,它们的作用是平滑交流电的纹波并滤除噪声。


EMI滤波器有多种类型,可根据具体应用需求来加以选择。例如,针对高可靠性的应用,您可能需要用到安规认证的X级和Y级电容器。X级(线对线)电容器被设计成短路失效,因此当过压情况发生时,EMI滤波器的失效会促使过流保护装置(OCPD)打开,防止发生电击危险。Y级电容器(线对地)也被设计为在失去地线连接的情况下失效打开。失效可能产生噪声,但不会造成致命风险。


高压电动车子系统的可靠性和安全性需要接受高度审查,X级和Y级多层陶瓷电容器MLCC)符合UL、TÜV、CSA、VDE和其他国际安全规范,是应用的理想选择。X类和Y类电容器常见的是陶瓷介质或塑料薄膜RFI/EMI抑制电容器,但由于一些电动车子系统有高温和小尺寸的要求,MLCC是更为理想之选,在恶劣的操作条件下不会融化。
