RJ45网络接口POE供电端口防护要求
●对于RJ45网络连接端口,部分已经具有POE直流供电的功能。IEC61000-4-5要求,端口POE供电必须进行共模、差模雷电及浪涌防护,满足客户整机技术。
●由于RJ45端口空间狭小,最好采用贴片式小尺寸且可以达到该端口的雷电及浪涌防护标准的防护产品。

●POE电源线对地共模雷电承受:4kV(1.25/50μS)或100A(8/20μS)。
●POE电源线间差模雷电承受:2kV(1.25/50μS)或50A(8/20μS)。

●响应时间比较是在引线式元件结构下比较的。若是贴片式结构,压敏与TVS响应时间不大于2.5ns,GDT响应时间不大于5ns。
●以上三种元件可以用于不同的线路保护位置,相对比较压敏电阻具有很好的性价比。

●工作电压5.5~100Vdc(SMDJ* 11~100Vdc),两类产品间工作电压对应替换,压敏电阻尺寸远小于TVS,且压敏电阻性能优于相对应TVS,但其成本降低30%;
●与其他过电压保护器件相比,压敏电阻在温度特性、阻燃特性、EMC效果方面具有更优性能。

随着工作电压增高,通过TVS的脉冲电流能力大幅度下降,而通过SDVL压敏电阻的脉冲电流能力几乎不变;因此,压敏电阻可更好地用于高电压、高脉冲电流幅值的线路中,进行过电压抑制及浪涌吸收。
1.EMC效果
●TVS/GDT/PESD没有吸能能力,脉冲能量一直在电路中存在,在地线上会形成Ldi/dt电磁干扰,须并联电容降低di/dt

●压敏电阻具有内阻,能够吸收部分能量,降低脉冲电流幅值及di/dt,在线路中具有EMC功能

2.温度特性
●片式压敏电阻陶瓷属热良导体,具有很好的散热能力,在高达85℃时仍保持脉冲电流稳定的温度特性。
●TVS因其材料特性,温度特性从25℃脉冲电流开始衰减。

●14~56Vdc、60~100Vdc线路用高脉冲电流的压敏电阻制造技术难度较大,引线式压敏电阻几乎空缺
●片式压敏电阻可以弥补该空缺

●对于最大直流工作电压不大于56V的压敏电阻,贴片式产品的耐受脉冲电流远大于引线式产品;
●贴片式压敏电阻的产品尺寸远小于引线式压敏电阻,故在整机空间有限制时,可以采用贴片式压敏电阻,如RJ45端口。
压敏电阻应用——RJ45接口
带有POE供电功能的RJ45接口须进行雷电过电压防护。因RJ45接口内空间有限,合适的元件就是片式压敏电阻。标准的五类网线有四对双绞线,10M BASE-T和100M BASE-T中只用到其中的两对,而1000M BASE-T则四对都用到。针对空闲供电(①)和信号线供电(②)两种方式的防护如下:

对于POE供电线路,方案A和方案B都可以达到RJ45接口的雷电防护标准,但鉴于空间和成本考虑,方案A的综合性价比优于方案B。对于脉冲绝缘耐压优良的IC,可采用方案A,对于脉冲绝缘耐压很低的IC,则可考虑共模用压敏电阻、差模用TVS。
