ISKRA Smart Energy Meters is fully compliant with the Eichrecht German calibration law!
We are pleased to announce that Iskra Smart Energy Meters (WM3M4C) are now fully compliant with the German Eichrecht standard. After receiving The Module B certification in 2021, Iskra has now successfully completed the assessment according to Annex 4 of Module D of the Measures and Verification Ordinance dated 17.7.2019.
Prestigious Eichrecht conformity means that the use of WM3M4C is assured by a reliable, trustworthy transaction, in accordance with the requirements set by German law.
This standard guarantees transparent measurement and billing for energy delivered from charging stations to EVs, so the biggest benefit for consumers is full visibility of the amount of energy they pay for. Information collected during a charging session must be very detailed and transparent to the user, which means that smart meters have to meet quite a few requirements, which we have achieved. Compliance with the highest energy metering standards, as well as transparency and data security for EVs, have been successfully ensured by this renowned certificate.
