【应用】瑞萨线性Trans-I阻抗放大器(TIA)用于SR PAM4高速光模块项目中,成本约为DSP方案芯片的一半
目前高速光模块解决方案主流应用有两种,一种是DSP方案,另外一种是模拟CDR方案。对于光模块发射和接收端的器件选择是整个光模块方案的关键。DSP方案中,在DSP芯片中集成了driver和CDR功能,处理信号高效而稳定,信号质量好,但是DSP方案在性能优良的同时,也面临着高功耗,高成本的问题。CDR方案与DSP方案相比,在性能好,功耗低的同时,还具备低成本的巨大优势。下面主要介绍瑞萨HXR14450芯片所特有的优势以及应用。
瑞萨HXR14450是专门为高速光模块解决方案而设计的光膜开接收端TIA,该芯片的主要特点为,多通道,集成度高,低成本,低功耗,高性能,目前在200/400/800G QSFP-DD SR PAM4高速光模块数据中心互联等领域广泛应用。
多通道:该芯片是一个四通道,每端口速率高达56 G bps PAM4调制速率,200G模块单机用量仅需一颗。
低成本:芯片采集用传统成熟的28nm CMOS工艺,成本大概是DSP方案芯片的一半。
低功耗:每颗芯片功耗约为3.5w,相比同类芯片每通道功耗低约50w。
高性能: 瑞萨HXR14450是一个四通道,每个通道集成时钟和数据恢复(CDR)单元,CDR内部包含DFAE,处理信号的能力强。
由于集以上优势于一身,可作为PAM4的下一代数据通信的调制芯片。主要应用在200G QSFP56 SR4 & 400G QSFP-DD或OSFPSR8以太网模块,400G SR OBO和AOC等。,尤其在大型互联和数据中心200G/400G高速光模块项目中应用广泛。

【应用】瑞萨112G 单通道线性EML驱动芯片用于单波100G高速光模块,功耗仅为250mW
RENESAS的HXT45111-3是一个单通道线性EML驱动芯片,传输速率高达112G ,主要与EML光芯片相结合,做成小封装尺寸的线性光模块发射端,主要应用在承载网中,接收端与RENESAS的HXR45100单通道112G TIA相匹配,可设计应用在下一代100G和200G/ 400G光收发模块。

DFB和VECSEL可以来篇文章介绍下么?从特点,应用,推荐产品
文章暂时还没写,关于DFB和VCSEL的激光管,两者都是DML调制(直调)方式,在光模块上的应用如SR(100m)都是选用VCSEL激光器(850nm波长),如LR(2km)一般都是选用DFB激光器。瑞萨现在没有VCSEL的激光器,只有VCSEL的驱动芯片和TIA(HXT/R 6104和HXT/R 6112),而关于DFB的激光器有RV2X6375(25Gbps CWDM)、RV2X6376(25Gbps CWDM)、NX6360(10Gbps)、NX6370(25Gbps LAN-WDM)。
